Nori is one of the most commonly used wild edible seaweeds throughout the world and is known by many names, most notably in Japan as Nori, Sleabhancán in Ireland, Laver in the British Isles, Gim or Kim in Korea, and Zicai in China.
Nori offers many valuable nutrients such as vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, zinc, calcium, omega-3 fatty acids, anti-oxidants and is high in fibre and protein.
