Ochre, with its earthy warmth, is not only pigment, it is a bridge between the human and the sacred—holding the ancient rhythms of the land within its grains. In every stroke, whether on skin, paper, or stone, Ochre carries the weight of ritual, a silent witness to the stories that shaped us, and the stories yet to be told...

Raw and alive through countless centuries, these wild Ochre palettes carry within them something ancient, the blood of the land, the essence of place, process, texture and time. Five of these six half pans were wild-foraged from the rugged landscapes of Donegal, Ireland—their raw mineral essence hand-ground and alchemized into natural honey-based watercolours. The sixth, a deep Black Ochre, brings the warmth of Provence, sourced from a family steeped in the traditions of earth pigment craft.

Together, they form a palette rich in narrative and rooted in the land.

Each Ochre Palette includes 6 half-pan natural, hand-made, honey watercolours & mini tin with lid.

1. BROWN: Bio-Genic Ochre (Foraged) Blue Stack Mountains, Donegal.
2. RED: Bio-Genic Ochre (Foraged) Loughsalt, Donegal.
3. YELLOW: Gold Ochre (Foraged) Loughsalt, Donegal.
4. BLACK: Black Ochre (Gleaned) Provence, France.
5. BLUE: Blue Ochre/Vivianite (Foraged) Maghery, Donegal.
6. GREEN: Green Ochre/Green Earth (Foraged) Maghery, Donegal.
